Build your DNS zones
Further zones are then managed from Univers, the subscriber area.
€6 per year per zone: domain or reverse zone (reverse DNS for your IP addresses)
Free with your MilkyWan service
How it works
- You send your request
Your configuration is attached. Nothing to pay at this stage.
- A volunteer replies
By e-mail: a few questions if needed, then you sign our terms and a SEPA mandate online.
- You order in Univers
Your subscriber area is created. You order the service there and pay the first instalment by card; the next ones are direct-debited.
- Service delivery
A few minutes after your Univers account is created: the zone is created automatically, then you delegate your domain.

Good to know
We host your zones on our authoritative name servers, ns1 to ns4.milkywan.fr.
How it works
The four servers answer on IPv4 and IPv6: if one network fails, your domain stays reachable.
We give you the DS record to publish at your registrar. Your domain name stays with the registrar of your choice, you only point its name servers to ours.
You manage your zones yourself from your Univers subscriber area, like your mail and hosting: records, DNSSEC, reverse zones.
Domain redirect
Free, up to 10 per contract: another of your domains redirects to your zone’s domain, as a permanent redirect (301), over http and https, www included, keeping the path. Its zone is hosted by us, DNSSEC-signed if you wish. For that domain’s mail, you choose: none, all mail to one of your addresses hosted with us, or, if your domain has its mail with us, each address to the same address on your domain (contact@ to contact@). You order it in Univers, then manage it from the service page.
Terms
The service is free as soon as you have any service with us: fibre, virtual machine, tunnel, hosting, any of them. Without another service, it costs €6 per year per zone.
